Data Engineer

About the role

This role is designed for data engineers with 2+ years of hands-on experience and strong expertise in SQL, Python, databases, and data engineering principles. You'll design, build, and optimize scalable, reliable data pipelines, take ownership of data quality, and play an active role in data governance and compliance initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven products and solutions, contribute to architectural and technical decisions, and help establish best practices while continuing to deepen your expertise in modern data engineering tools and practices.

What you'll do

  • Build, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot reliable data pipelines and data-quality issues.
  • Clean, transform, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and Python.
  • Support data warehouse design, development, and maintenance using knowledge of databases, data structures, and ETL/ELT concepts.
  • Support data governance through documentation, lineage, quality standards, access controls, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exposure to Airflow, dbt, Spark, or data governance tools.
  • Ensure data processes align with organizational policies, security standards, and applicable regulations.

What we're looking for

  • Familiarity with Git and version-control practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or PowerBI is a plus
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail.
  • Immediate joiners would be preferred.
